The Original Badass Luxury Lipstick

While Urban Decay did away with their Revolution lipsticks, they kept their original cream luxury lipsticks in the Vice launch. Thank goodness, because this cream formula rocks. It’s what made me like the brand ever since I got their Sword & Dagger lipsticks, remember those?

Now you’re probably wondering about all the Urban Decay posts as of late, while it’s not my fav brand of all time necessarily (it’s a close second), I do find myself wearing a lot of their newer product launches lately especially now over the summer. The recent releases are just fun and pigmented. It’s easy to wear and go. I don’t have any reactions and it just works for my skin. I do have holy grails like the Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation, All Nighter Eyeliner and pretty much all of their Naked palettes. All in all, I don’t think you can go wrong with Urban Decay. Now for the two lippies I picked up…

Violet is a dusty purple with pink undertone cream lipstick. I saw it and swatched and as I’ve been feeling the dusty lavenders lately, it had to come home with me! (On the nails is Essie’s Gel Couture in Touch Up). It’s goes so easily and feels great. Great pigmentation on these.

Crush is a hot pink cream lipstick. I fell in love with this color when it came out as a mini a couple of years ago in this holiday set of 6 minis. I had always hoped that Urban Decay would come out with a full size tube of it. When I saw it was in the line-up, I was like “Yes!”. The only thing to note is that it doesn’t have that gold duochrome overlay as the mini did. Other than that I’m loving it and it’s another addition to my punchy pinks collection.

Violate is available at Sephora, Ulta and Urban Decay.
Crush is an Urban Decay and Ulta only color.

Got a fav Urban Decay Vice Cream lippie?
