They’re described as “weightless liquid lipstick with a plush matte finish”. NYX released these with much hype via social media. It’s taken me a while to try these even though I did get some when they were first released earlier this year. They retail for $7 which is a great price for a liquid lipstick. Even better if you score a NYX BOGO. They come in 12 shades of varying nudes. It’s hard to tell what they actually look like on your lips even if you examine the tubes under a microscope.
Here are the ones I’ve tried thus far. CORSET: is a pretty light toffee nude. EMBELLISHMENT: is a popular muted purple. TEDDY: is a warm rich brown.
They feel lightweight on lips and not painfully drying. Overall, the finish is a comfortable plush, and yes it does settle somewhat into lines. I feel tackiness at first but it does take a while to set.

I hope to add more colors to this review eventually. In the meantime, they’re not my go-to’s sadly. In the world of ever-hyped liquid lipsticks, some products just wind up in the back of the makeup drawer.
So are these your holy grails or has the hype faded?
