Big, plumps lips are popular now more than ever. Thanks to the filled lips of one Kylie girl. I see many girls opting for injections, some loving it and some regretting it. I myself don’t really care to fill my lips but to each their own.
I did receive this lip plumping device from Born Pretty. They were kind enough to send it to me for review. It’s a device that I’ve seen used by YouTubers. I was curious to see if it would give me the Kylie lip effect for fuller lips.
The package states that it’s hard to find. I don’t know about that but you can purchase it on the BornPretty.com store using my code to save 10%: AN1H10!
The mouthpiece fits comfortably over the mouth. You have to pull the pump out and back again. Honestly I didn’t want to post a picture because it looks downright phallic. 😀
Make sure to wipe the inside with rubbing alcohol after use to disinfect. The mouthpiece tends to collect the oils, makeup or whatever you have on your face.
The idea is the air pulls the mouth into the suction part and you hold it there. It only minimally plumped my lips at first. You have to keep repeating it as per instructions: twice per day then increase to 3-4 per day. I think it’s a novel idea but couldn’t see myself doing it regularly as I feel my lips are pretty ok.
If you’re someone who doesn’t want to go the way of lip fillers and want to try this, it’s an inexpensive way to get some plumpness. It’s also safer and gentler. And it doesn’t hurt like using any household product to do the Kylie Lip Challenge does. I did that challenge using the cap off my Dior makeup. Suffice to say my lips hurt. Lesson Learned: Just Be Yourself and Love You. But if you want plumper lips, I ain’t judging you.
